Place of Shelter (Mein Fleisch und Blut)
The marriage of Martin and Katharina is in crisis due to their son's developmental disorder and Martin's burnout. When new neighbors—a young couple—move in, everything seems to be taking a turn for the better. But then Martin accidentally discovers a terrible secret, and the nightmare begins.

In this documentary three people talk about their experiences on the threshold of death and the after-effects on their lives. Seemingly in opposition to that scientific considerations try to explain the phenomenon of near-death experiences, which has had a place in every culture and religion.

In a hardware store, Thomas, who has just returned home from the military service, meets the mother of his former youth football protégé. A shadow from the past slowly becomes visible.
